About Stir House
Stir House Atlanta is a dedicated gluten-free, 100% vegan kitchen blending Asian techniques with Southern roots. Everything is made from scratch — from fresh produce and plant-based proteins to sauces, soups, broths, and dough — using farm-fresh, local ingredients.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a skilled Wok Chef experienced in scratch cooking, plant-based proteins, and wok techniques. This role requires reliability, consistency, and adherence to professional kitchen standards and state/local food safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Prep and cook fresh produce, plant-based proteins, sauces, soups/broths, and dough preparation from scratch (Bao Buns, Empanadas and desserts)
Execute wok-based dishes, use fryers, oven and any kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during service
Maintain speed, quality, and presentation during service
Collaborate with your team members to ensure workload is evenly distributed and assignments are completed.
Adhere to a consistent schedule — reliable transportation is required; attendance issues will not be tolerated
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Asian or fusion cuisine
Skilled in wok techniques, fryer use, and high-volume prep
Proficient in scratch preparation of sauces, soups, dough, and plant-based proteins
Familiarity with professional kitchen safeguards and food safety standards
ServSafe preferred but not required
Excellent teamwork, communication, and reliability
Authorized to work in the U.S.
